Luz from Columbia (really) emailed me to say I should check out the Temple of Debod. I just did and made a major discovery. The Temple of Debod was originally located very close to the great religious center dedicated to the goddess Isis, in Philae Egypt.

When the government of Egypt started building the Aswan High Dam in the late 1960′s they needed to relocate some ancient temples to save them from eventual flooding including the Temple of Dendur (which was moved to the Met in NYC) and the Temple of Debod.
As a sign of gratitude for the help provided by Spain in saving the temples of Abu Simbel, the Egyptian state donated the temple of Debod to Spain in 1968. Here is the rebuilt Temple of Debod today where it stands near the royal palace in Madrid. Nice “as above, so below” symbolism in the reflecting pool by the way.

Amazing as this is, it is not the major discovery I’m talking about. I checked out the site of the Temple of Debod in Google Earth. It’s a linear complex so I wondered why it is oriented as it is.

Using the ruler tool I drew a line along the complex and noted its angle. Then I extended this line and guess where it points: Rome.

More precisely the line points directly to the ancient Egyptian obelisk at the center of Vatican Square. The line (which is actually a great circle whose center is the center of the Earth) coincides with the central axis of St. Peter’s basilica and Vatican Square, right down the line:

As my friend and fellow researcher Cort Lindahl discovered, the axis of the Vatican goes directly to the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. So putting these discoveries together we now have one continuous alignment connecting the Temple of Debod with the Hagia Sophia in Byzantium/Constantinople/Istanbul running directly along the Vatican axis that bisects St. Peter’s Square.

So What Does It Mean?
The Vatican – Hagia Sophia connection makes a lot of sense because Constantinople became the eastern HQ of Roman Empire after Rome was sacked by the Visigoths in the time of Constantine the Great. This alignment shows that geomancy was practiced in ancient times.
The modern extension of this axis (completed in 1972) to the ancient Egyptian Temple of Debod exposes who the Vatican really worships:

I’m not saying people of the Catholic faith worship Isis.
I’m showing there is an Egyptian connection that keeps popping up in relation to the Vatican. Consider the colossal bronze pinecone in the Vatican’s Courtyard of the Belvedere which came from the Temple of Isis in ancient Rome, and the obelisk from Heliopolis in St. Peter’s Square as two additional examples. Also I show how Pietro Perugino’s fresco in the Sistine chapel uses occult Egyptian symbols in my Esoteric Astronomy episode.
Do you think these alignments are accidents? The mind boggles at the odds.

Nice connection with the Roman Cathlic Church. Now we need to figure out why all the child molestation cases are comming to the surface, and why is it mostly if not all priests and boys? Thanks again for your great work and insites.
It is totally false and “made up” that “mostly if not all priests and boys.” If one looks up the truth, he will see this is not the case. If one really looks at the truth, it is 4% of priest, big difference from “mostly if not all.”
Didn’t Isis have sex with her son, Osiris, after she “adorned” him with an artificial phallus, i.e. and obelisk? Could this be a spiritual influence that has infected a goddess worshiping “church”? Is the Queen of Heaven still demanding sexual worship in the same manner? Makes me wonder…
@Jay Isis had sex with her brother-lover Osiris. The offspring of their incestuous union was their son Horus. Your other points are well taken: twisted sexuality is a big part of the church. See http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,2072613,00.html?xid=rss-world
Looks like the order of the “gates” was switched when the temple was rebuilt.
The symbol (any symbol), is a material view that explain a metaphysical concept. Not the other way around, and not like you see it in this case. Do you think that sex is a metaphysical concept? We all have the same amount of distorted and confused sense of reality, just like the church people have. All that is contemporary in these blinded times is under this ‘spell’, and all this has begun more than 2000 years ago.
Once that temple has been moved, it doesn’t fulfill it’s initial role, and it became just another object, no mater what was the intention of those who put it there. Of course, anyone can speculate about that intention, but i doubt that it can ‘work’ at any level of reality.
The behavior of ANYONE in a world like this, is HIS OWN PROBLEM and HIS OWN CHOICE. Don’t blame some stones, in any chosen position, for the confusion of some idiots. Not anymore.
ALL IS ONE.
All perception is a gamble. That’s all I have to say.
In Mombasa, Kenya, there is a fish that was caught some years back by ordinary fishermen. It had Arabic words inscribed on it saying “the Lord is the provider of all things”. The inscriptions look like a birthmark. To me, such things happen with a reason only the gods can understand.
Anonymous is right. The Lord is the provider of all things, indeed. Including US. Including our understanding of ourselves and Him. Soon, some of us will understand this at a hiher level. We are GROWING UP every single minute. The times of wandering is closing down.
ALL IS ONE
Of course, the level will be HIGHER, and the times… ARE closing…
There is nothing by accident only in the Have you even thought of the idea that maybe the Vatican was built in this spot because God is going to condemn pagan worship? Ever since the Catholic Church was founded by Christ, the church has sought to conquer false religions and idols, whether intentionally by the Holy Spirit or not intentionally by the Holy Spirit. Don’t get fooled over some website that says “The extension of this axis to the ancient Egyptian Temple of Debod (completed in 1972) exposes who the Vatican really worships.” This is pure speculation. Yes, members of the Catholic Church have done wrong. But, the church has existed for 2000 years! Not because of man, but because of God! Jesus said he will never leave us orphans. The Catholic Church is being attacked by Satan, but it will triumph in the end because that is what Christ said!
@ John Paul Shea, Seriously, stop sullying this site with your religious rhetoric of gobbledy gook. Early Christians were murdered by Romans because they were small communities that loved and visited their personal God via Entheogen. So get off of your soap box and let some real discourse take place.
Scott, your work is very well crafted and pieced together concisely as so anyone can understand what has happened. It’s quite obvious some here feel you have discredited their world view
The Catholic Church was founded by Romans not by Jesus. Secondly, Jesus’s church was the Church of Jerusalem, which were led by his brothersafter his death. Paul, usurped the message and then Rome carried it far way from it’s original intent. Subsequently, the Word was hijacked to serve the State. God knows All.
Religous bigotry does not have a place here.
Consider the Great Seal of the United States’ 13 stripes on the shield, 13 stars, 13 arrows, 13 leaves, 13 olives and even the 13 colonies. Never mind the 33 feathers on one wing and 32 on the other.
No, forget about the 13 colonies because that’s duplication — the 13 stripes symbolize the 13 colonies, so that leaves us with 5 sets of 13: stripes (or colonies), stars, arrows, leaves and olives for a total of 65 (13 X 5 = 65) 33 feathers + 32 feathers = 65 feathers! BINGO!
E. Pluribus Unim on the Great Seal of the United States contains a total of 13 letters.
Nice to see that the Spanish got the two “gates” of the temple of Debod the wrong way rouund when they rebuilt them in Madrid! (The first gate is now second)
I can’t get enough of this stuff. It seems to me, that it doesn’t matter how much each of our views differ from one another. That we ARE viewing, commenting, sharing, and trying to come to some understanding TOGETHER on these ideas is what matters. We are all in this together. There is no doubt about that. We each have our own personal view on life within the whole. If we can respect that unique quality about ourselves and everyone else, we might actually learn something from everyone we meet.
