Patterns in Art, Architecture, Urban Design, & the Cosmos

The tower erected in 1889 by freemason Gustave Eiffel (who also designed the inner structure of the Statue of Liberty) remains to this day the tallest structure in Paris. The Eiffel tower served as the entrance to the World’s Fair, opening out onto the Champ de Mars. The Mars Field is named after the Campus Martius in Rome, which honors the Roman god of war.

I’ve been using the most popular depiction of a man’s body ever made – Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian man – to uncover embodied urban symbolism, see Astana and the Olympics.

The Roman Vitruvius’ Ten Books of Architecture explained how effective temples are based on the human body. I have found just such a temple resonating with Mars in the heart of Paris.

Mars’ phallus obviously maps to the Eiffel tower, his navel power chakra maps to the fountain at the center of the paths, his heart chakra is on the cross axis with Mitterand’s ancient Egyptian-themed 1989 French bicentennial Monument of Human Rights, and the obelisk at Place Fontenoy is his pineal gland/third eye chakra. Incidentally, this same obelisk forms part of the solar alignment discussed in Secrets In Plain Sight – Volume 1.

Notice also that the Military School itself forms a collar to the Vitruvian man’s head and UNESCO forms a kind of helmet, horn, or Martian antenna.

The red and white fields resonate with the two hemispheres of the brain, the colors of upper and lower Egypt, the two springs at Glastonbury, or blood and semen. The lattermost pairing resonates with the killing and rape associated with war. You could say Mars is embodied at the scale of this famous linear urban complex. Is his power somehow magically transferred to the military school?

I find it fascinating that the Comte de Saint-Germain reorganized the Ecole Militaire in 1777. St. Germain is one of the most interesting persons in history.

Myths, legends and speculations about St. Germain began to be widespread in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and continue today. They include beliefs that he is immortal, the Wandering Jew, an alchemist with the “Elixir of Life”, a Rosicrucian, and that he prophesied the French Revolution. He is said to have met the forger Giuseppe Balsamo (alias Cagliostro) in London and the composer Rameau in Venice. Some groups honor Saint Germain as a supernatural being called an Ascended Master. -Source

Synchronicity: St. Germain is one of the main characters in a book I’m currently reading to my son, The Magician by Michael Scott.

Napoleon attended the Ecole Militaire in 1784 and is entombed very close by in Les Invalides.

Being familiar with David Wood’s book GenIsis (1985), I see a connection to the Mars linear complex in Paris. Before I tell you what that is, let me show you the structured landscape that Wood discovered 660 kilometers due South in the region of Rennes le Chateau.

When I first saw this geometry I dismissed it because it is not a regular pentagram but a pentacle. However I was far too hasty. After having recently read Wood’s follow up book that he wrote with Ian Campbell called GeneSet (1994), I see incredible wisdom in the diagram that wasn’t open to me until I grew to have eyes to see it.

If the green circle has a radius of 1 then its circumference is exactly 2 Pi. The amazing thing is, the golden triangle also has a perimeter of 2 Pi (99.8% accurate). So in a sense this diagram is every bit as important as Squaring the Circle is in sacred geometry. I think of this as Triangulating the Circle.

The key to Triangulating the Circle is dividing the circle into 15 parts as was done with the gray 15 pointed star. This 15 part division was suggested by the placement of the towns around Rennes le Chateau and that is how Wood chanced upon this geometric discovery.

In GenIsis Wood mentions the Osiris story and how it is usually reported that Set cut Osiris’ body into 14 pieces and threw his phallus into the Nile. He claims there were therefore a total of 15 pieces rather than 14 as is usually reported. If you think about it, this makes perfect sense. There really are 15 parts to the male body if you count them. The 15th part would be the pointy extension in the diagram that penetrates the circle. It has a 36 degree internal angle just like the regular pentagram.

I noticed another intriguing layer embedded in Wood’s diagram. In John Martineau’s A Little Book of Coincidence in the Solar System he mentions that Saturn’s and Earth’s sizes (99%) and mean orbits (98%) are given by a 15 pointed star such that the inner circle represents Earth and the outer circle represents Saturn.

Immanuel Velikovsky equated Saturn with Osiris in his book In the Beginning.

Wood and Campbell pointed out in GeneSet how Phi is also embedded in the diagram. I made a piece of art that shows these connections and more. To learn more about how the Sun and Saturn relate, watch David Talbot’s Thunderbolts of the Gods.

Sacred Marriage by Scott Onstott

Today using Google Earth I drew a circle that hits Rennes le Chateau, Cassaignes, Serres, Bugarach, and Saint-Just-et-le-Bezu (see enlarged diagram) and noticed that its area is 66,666,666 square meters. Amazing. This is the circumcircle in Wood’s diagram, shown in blue in my Google Earth image.

Then I copied the longitude of the center of this circle and flew back to Paris where I created a placemark along the Eiffel tower- Champ de Mars axis. Guess where this exact center point is: the center of la Place de Breteuil. This point is therefore perfectly due north of the center point of the same sized circle in the Languedoc. It is the intersection point of the Eiffel tower- Champ de Mars axis with the axis of Les Invalides where Napoleon was entombed. Breteuil was the Minister of War twice under Louis XV.

Drawing a circle with an area of 66,666,666 square meters from la Place de Breteuil has a resonance with Leonardo’s Vitruvian man because the center point is at the top of the circumcircle around the urban body of Mars and the corners of Leonardo’s page are touched by the circle itself.

The red line from the obelisk at Place Fontenoy traces the central axis of embodied Mars straight through the Eiffel tower at a heading of 314 degrees, recalling Pi.

Extending this line across the earth it goes directly to the center of Danebury iron age hill fort in the UK. Built in the the 6th century BC, Danebury is an intriguing place for the Paris Mars axis to end up for several reasons.

The Meteoritical Society lists the ‘first British meteorite find’ from the Danebury hill fort site. -Source I’m going to hazard a guess that this meteorite came from Mars.

Just a stone’s throw from the “hill fort” was a Roman villa or country farmhouse whose central floor mosaic has survived and been recently installed in the Museum of the Iron Age in nearby Andover. The Fullerton Mosaic depicts Mars at the center of the main room.

In the book Two-Thirds: A History of Our Galaxy (1993), the author David P. Myers tells an amazing story of an extra-terrestrial human civilization that colonized Mars eons ago and after a great war, they eventually came to our planet which they called…wait for it…Danebury. So perhaps the Danebury ring actually depicts the Earth. If so then the Paris Eiffel-Champ de Mars axis represents the colonists coming from Mars to Earth! All written out on the ground in plain sight.

Myers also goes on to draw a parallel between Cydonia on Mars and the Avebury/Silbury Hill complex. He claims the Martian colonists actually built Avebury ring and Silbury Hill as a mirror of their destroyed settlement on Mars. Here I’ve overlaid Google Mars imagery over Google Earth imagery and you can see the large crater and conical mound do match Avebury ring and Silbury Hill. The face on mars isn’t represented on earth (it’s a field) nor is the 5 sided pyramidal structure.

On August 5th 2012, Curiosity, NASA’s next Mars rover is scheduled to land on the red planet. August 5th just happens to be the date when a very special astronomical event occurs. An equilateral triangle (eye of God) forms with Mars, Saturn, and Spica in the constellation Virgo. All 3 are first magnitude objects and this arrangement will be easy to spot almost everywhere on Earth. Thanks to Daniel White for posting this intriguing video on my facebook wall.

Curiously Mars, Saturn, and Spica resonate with Set, Osiris, and Isis respectively. That’s quite a love triangle. In a few days Curiosity will land on Mars looking for life. As NASA says at the end of the above video, “The real show is about to begin.”

Astana Kazakhstan is a city which takes the form of a magical diagram upon the ground. I feel that I am only scratching the surface of the many layers of secrets in plain sight encoded there. I have to start somewhere so I’ll share with you my thinking at this point.

First of all Astana is in one of the worlds least hospitable places with temperature extremes ranging from +40 to -50 degrees C (+106 to -60 degrees F). It is the world’s second coldest capital after Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Isn’t it strange that the Kazakhs moved their capital to the coldest place in Kazakhstan in 1998?

“To some Kazakhs, the move remains controversial. Critics cite the city’s isolated location in the center of the Kazakh steppe and the forbidding climate in winter.”

Astana is more or less at the center of the Eurasian landmass. In this way it functions much the same as the Manitoba Legislative Building does in North America: it is at the center. See Finding the Center.

Astana was named in 1998. Thanks Jan Thulstrup for posting on the word Astana on Facebook. There was a lot of sync for me around Astana today.

The word Astana originates from Persian آستانه‎ which means “sublime threshold,” or “royal door” from the Persian verb آستان which means ‘to stand in respect’, and literally means royal or sacred “threshold” where people stand in respect or awe.

Astana is starting to sound like a stargate. I need to call William Henry!

Between 1991-98 the place was called Akmola which means “White Shrine.”

From 1961-91 it was called Tselinograd which means “Virgin Lands City.”

In the 1950′s under Stalin, what is now Astana was the “Camp for Wives of Traitors of the Motherland”, one of the most notorious in the Gulag archipelago. It hasn’t always been peace and light in Astana.

In capitals like Astana, Brasilia, Washington DC, and Canberra which were created on relatively blank canvases we have the special opportunity to see into the minds of the designers by studying the urban fabric.

Astana clearly has a central axis. I see this as a spine. Sir Norman Foster designed the two ends of the axis with the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation and the aptly named Khan Shatyr Entertainment Center.

The phallus-egg entertainment center is a high-tech tent covering an area larger than 10 football stadiums which has “an urban-scale internal park, shopping and entertainment venue with squares and cobbled streets, a boating river, shopping centre, minigolf and an indoor beach resort.” -Source

The red line marks the end of Astana’s axis and represents the root chakra. Believe it or not, it is exactly 4,444,444 yards to the other end of this line which terminates at the apex of the Great Pyramid in Egypt. Please measure it yourself in Google Earth and you too will “stand in respect or awe.”

Bayterek is the heart and most famous symbol of Astana. It represents a tree of life where a magic bird Samruk (aka Simurgh) laid a golden egg, measuring 22 meters in diameter in this case.

Notice the solar octagram star symbol surrounding Bayterek and again on the ends of the minor cross axis. The heart chakra is the Sun.

Iranian legends consider the bird so old that it had seen the destruction of the World three times over. The simurgh learned so much by living so long that it is thought to possess the knowledge of all the Ages. In one legend, the simurgh was said to live 1,700 years before plunging itself into flames (much like the phoenix). -Source

The phoenix is flying toward the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation.

Aza O’Leary discovered that an 85 million year old species unearthed in Kazakhstan was named Samrukia nessovi.

The generic name of the species is a nod to Samruk, a mythological Kazakh phoenix, while its specific name, nessovi, honours the late Lev Nessov, a Russian palaeontologist who, before his death in 1995, made a valuable contribution to Central Asian vertebrate palaeontology. -Source

The Palace of Peace and Reconciliation in the position of the crown chakra takes the form of a 77 meter high pyramid.

The Pyramid was specially constructed to host the “Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions” containing accommodations for Judaism, Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism and other faiths.

The pyramid also houses an opera house and stained glass at the apex depicting doves. My friend Rick points out that there are 32 points around the table where the Congress meets.

Tariqas Al Khadir pointed out that the flag of Kazakhstan also has 32 rays and the magic bird.

Kazakhstan hosted the 2011 Asian Winter Games which is a spectacle almost on the scale of the Olympics. Kazakhstan won 32 golds. The opening ceremony was quite a spectacle. These are of course the Olympic colors.

The Olympic Stadium in London will be transformed into a “green and pleasant land” during the opening megaritual. See here. This is a reference to William Blake’s poem where he talks about a chariot of fire and building a new Jerusalem in England.

I felt inspired to see where the central spine of Astana points. Extending the line across the Earth I find that it points directly at Asuncion, the capital of Paraguay.

ASUNCION is pronounced AH SOON SEE ON. ON is the name of ancient Heliopolis. Another way of thinking of this is A SUN SION or A SUN ZION.

This brings us back to the Olympics and the word Zion encoded in the official logo.

Perhaps these are the first sionists?

Astana is 133 degrees away from Asuncion as measured in Google Earth. Asuncion means Assumption in Spanish. Are my assumptions valid?

Asuncion, capital of Paraguay, actually refers to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven.

The Roman Catholic Church teaches as dogma that the Virgin Mary “having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory.” This doctrine was dogmatically and infallibly defined by Pope Pius XII on 11/1/1950. -Source

The assumption is a stargate that also reminds me of the Apotheosis of George Washington under the US Capital dome.

On the flipside ASTANA is an anagram for A SATAN. SATANAS means Satan in Spanish (thank you Donn Juan Mena).

Is Astana a future HQ for the NWO’s agenda to create a one-world religion in the aftermath of some olympic style mega-ritual like a phoenix reborn from the flames?

The olympics are held every 4 years which amounts to 1461 days (365×4 plus one leap day).

The Sothic cycle is a period of 1,461 ancient Egyptian years of 365 days each. During a Sothic cycle, the 365-day year loses enough time by not accounting for leap year that only after exactly 1461 years does the start of the year once again coincide with the heliacal rising of Sirius, star of Isis.

Therefore the secret in plain sight is the Olympics are an ancient mega-ritual symbolically going back all the way to ancient Egypt. There are just 9 days until the festivities begin, one day for each god in the ennead.

This just in on 8/10/12…Kevin McMahon just figured out another reason why Astana is where it is. My mind is blown (again).

Update 6 Sept 12: Craig’s comments reveal that the PPR is 33,000,000 feet from the center of Treasure Island in San Francisco. The center point is a baseball field. Baseball encodes so many things, a few of which are depicted in this piece of art I made a while back.

Also the golden Dome of the Rock to the Adam’s apple (remember the garden of Eden?) of Astana’s encoded man is 3652.42 km, echoing the solar year of 365.242 days. Eating the fruit from the tree of knowledge reveals solar symbolism in this case.

I went to LA in November and had a chance to take a closer look at the All Seeing Eye Pyramid in Century City, to experience the Magic of Holly Wood, and to investigate the mysteries surrounding the Santa Monica Pier. I made a bunch of interesting discoveries that I think you’ll enjoy especially if you have been following my work. Here’s what Century City Plaza looks like in Google Earth:

The two equilateral triangle buildings at the base of the pyramid are 44 stories each, making 88 floors of symbolic power. There are 88 constellations in the night sky and the road flanking the buildings on the right just happens to be called Constellation Boulevard.

I saw only two signs identifying what corporations are housed in the Century Plaza towers: JP Morgan and City National Bank; the latter’s logo reminds me of Jacob’s ladder.

Perhaps the towers are “the way up” to Orion and Sirius? The ancient Egyptians certainly believed that building copies of the stars on the earth would confer particular benefits.

“Whoever shall make a copy of the Duat, and shall know it upon earth, it shall act as a magical protector for him both in heaven and in earth, unfailingly, regularly, and eternally.” -The Book of What is in the Duat (circa 1400 BCE)

The long rectangular building above the top of the pyramid is the Creative Artists Agency. It has an inner void which a talented pilot might fly a helicopter through in some high budget movie.

The address of CAA is 2000 Avenue of the Stars. Constellations of stars are members of CAA:

“Creative Artists Agency is a talent and literary agency with offices in Los Angeles, Nashville, New York, Beijing, and London. CAA represents the most creative and successful artists working in music, film, television, theatre, sports, and games, and provides a range of strategic marketing services to corporate clients. The agency serves as the access point through which artists, consumers and global brands intersect to create, acquire and sell entertainment properties, and to enrich entertainment and brand experiences.” -Source

When I was standing there for my 15-minutes of observing fame, a drop dead gorgeous woman (I don’t have a clue who, but she looked Italian) got out of a brand new Porsche and walked past me into CAA.

The “eye” is really a semi-circular stone plaza in the middle of Century Park. It’s not really perceptible as an eye within a pyramid on the ground unless you think like an architect. You’d be able to see it plain as day from high up in the either of the twin towers which seem to resonate with Jachin and Boaz.

Put them together and you have the Star of David.

“How deeply Jewish is Hollywood? When the studio chiefs took out a full-page ad in the Los Angeles Times a few weeks ago to demand that the Screen Actors Guild settle its contract, the open letter was signed by: News Corp. President Peter Chernin (Jewish), Paramount Pictures Chairman Brad Grey (Jewish), Walt Disney Co. Chief Executive Robert Iger (Jewish), Sony Pictures Chairman Michael Lynton (surprise, Dutch Jew), Warner Bros. Chairman Barry Meyer (Jewish), CBS Corp. Chief Executive Leslie Moonves (so Jewish his great uncle was the first prime minister of Israel), MGM Chairman Harry Sloan (Jewish) and NBC Universal Chief Executive Jeff Zucker (mega-Jewish). If either of the Weinstein brothers had signed, this group would have not only the power to shut down all film production but to form a minyan with enough Fiji water on hand to fill a mikvah.” -Source

I took the above photo from the Annenburg Space for Photography which looks down on the plaza. The Space was closed the day I visited but the exhibit they were hosting was called Beauty CULTure, showing a number of incarnations of the goddess Isis, or Lilith if you prefer her Babylonian Talmud version.

We drove down Santa Monica Blvd and saw people filming a scene seemingly for the cult of beauty…

…on the way to Hollywood & Highland (H&H) and the Kodak Theatre which is the permanent home of the Academy Awards ceremony. Hmm, the sign is just one letter off from Isis.

I wanted to get a closer look at what I call the Ishtar Gate. It’s bigger than I imagined, but the real shocker was what is framed perfectly under the gate off in the distance.

It’s the Hollywood sign. This is especially interesing because of the Hulu commercial I referenced in the Magic of Holly Wood where Alec Baldwin enters a secret alien base underneath this sign. The developers must have oriented the plaza in reference to this iconic sign:

Update: Thank you Christopher Hunter Myers for your comment on my Synchronicity in the City post relating to your blog post which in turn references an article by Philip Coppens called “The Phallis of Osiris in Hollywood?” Both are utterly fascinating and well worth reading.

To summarize, the best selling author Linda Goodman who wrote Sun Signs (1968), believed that there was an underground chamber underneath the cross on Hollywood Hill literally containing the phallis of Osiris.

“There are some hints that Goodman might not have been the first interested in this piece of land. Interestingly, the summit of the [Hollywood] hill is the only piece of property in LA that is circular in shape!” -Source

Richard Cassaro asks the intriguing question, “Was Jesus the Second Coming of Egypt’s Christ?“

Goodman spent a great deal of her own money having scientific tests performed that apparently showed that there is indeed a secret underground chamber under the cross on Hollywood Hill.

Philip Coppens wrote, “Hollywood Hill was a private project of Linda Goodman, which largely died when she died in 1995.” I wish her investigation will someday be reopened.

The line connecting the Ishtar gates goes right between Hollywood Hill and Hollwood Bowl on the other side of the the 101 freeway.

Conductors use another type of holly wood in the form of batons to entrance their audiences at the summer concerts at Hollywood Bowl.

Don’t forget the original Ishtar gate is 6555 miles away from the Ishtar Gate of Hollywood & Highland along a line that perfectly traces the city wall of Babylon itself.

Winged Babylonian gods holding pinecones flank the entrace to Victoria’s Secret inside H&H’s courtyard on one side of the Ishtar gate.

What is Victoria’s secret really? You know what those catalogs represent, that same CULT of beauty. Here’s an earlier issue:

The Whore of Babylon

Bel-Air is just a stone’s throw from H&H. In my post on 666, I mentioned that in 1989 Ronald and Nancy Reagan retired to 666 St. Cloud Road in Bel-Air. Nancy had the street number changed to 668. Also Ronald Wilson Reagan had 6 letters in each of his 3 names, making 666 by concatenation.

Bel, signifying “lord” or “master”, is a title rather than a genuine name, applied to various gods in Babylonian religion. -Source

The axis coming from Babylon goes right through the Ishtar gate of H&H and continues across the street to Disney’s El Capitan theatre. El Capitan must therefore be Bel.

In fact the precise axis is centered on the star at the top of the marquee. That might explain why the ticket booth is at the extreme right edge of the building. You can see the Hollywood Masonic Temple next door, where Jimmy Kimmel Live is currently filmed.

Incidentally Michael Eisner has a star that just happens to be right in front of the Hollywood Masonic Temple. Eisner was the CEO of Disney for 21 years. Remember Disneyland’s Club 33?

Thank you to Boodabill who commented on the Magic of Holly Wood post that the structure on top of the El Capitan looks like an obelisk. There is a resemblance.

It was with all these things in mind that we left H&H and drove west down Santa Monica Blvd into the setting sun. There are signs along the way that identify Santa Monica Blvd as Historic Route 66 (most people in LA probably don’t know this).

Route 66 served as a major path for those who migrated west, especially during the Dust Bowl of the 1930s.

I didn’t realize it until arriving on site but the Santa Monica Pier is literally the terminus of Route 66. This sign is on the pier.

Route 66 was known as The Mother Road before the interstate highway system replaced it. Here is Blaze Starr, burlesque dancer from the 1940s, getting her kicks on route 66.

I wanted to go to the end of Santa Monica pier because of something I discovered last summer in Google Earth: the tip of the Santa Monica Pier has the exact same latitude as the Temple of Baalbek in Lebanon. The circle shown on the pier corresponds precisely to the latitude of the center of the hexagonal temple atop the platform of Baalbek.

Linguistically Bel is a cognate of Ba’al. Baalbek was the cult center of Ba’al worship going back nine thousand years. The megaliths of Baalbek are some of the greatest mysteries on the planet. How did the ancients move 1200 ton stones when we can’t do it today?

There is also a ferris wheel on the Santa Monica Pier. Another all-seeing-eye held up by compasses if you will, reminding me of the Millennium Wheel in London.

My friend Jan Thulstrup sent me a picture of a Highway 66 in northern Israel, which isn’t too far from Baalbek incidentally; Israel’s route 66 goes through Megiddo – better known under its Greek name of Armageddon.

There’s just something about 66 that we all subconsciously know spells trouble.
