The following set of numbers comprise what I call the cosmic sequence:
27, 54, 108, 216, 432, 864, 1728, 3456
Each successive term is double the value of the preceding term.
The first term, 27, is equal to three cubed. Pythagoras said that three cubed represents the cosmos.
In Buddhism the traditional Great Retreat lasts for 3 years, 3 months and 3 days and the number 27 represents the highest level of knowledge in Rūpaloka, known as the world of form.
In the Kabbalah there are 27 letters, corresponding to 27 channels of communication with God. The Hebrew numeric system is additive, requiring 27 symbols (1-9, 10-90, 100-900), emphasizing formation from three nines.

…and strangely, many popular musicians are members of the 27 Club, meaning they died in their 27th year of life. 27 Club members include Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Amy Winehouse, and many others.

There are 54 years in a triple Saros cycle. In other words, it takes 54 years for the Sun, Moon and Earth to return to nearly identical celestial geometry such that an eclipse occurs on the same day and at the same time.
The Moon perfectly covers the Sun during a total solar eclipse.
A perfect round of golf scores 54 points, although this level of perfection has never been achieved in competition.

The Bible starts off with the famous story that God created the world in 6 days and then took a day off to rest and catch some rays.
6 days = 8640 minutes
Perhaps this is the purpose of the story, to encode the following information about SUN & DAY:
SUN diameter is 864,000 miles (99.8%)
DAY is 86,400 seconds (mean solar exactly)

In SIPS Volume 1 (Jerusalem part 1 episode) I show how the cubit that measures Jerusalem measures 1.728 feet. 1728 such cubits measure the sacred geometry of the city. The X’s in the diagram mark the holiest spots in Christianity (Golgotha) and Judaism (Holy of Holies inside Solomon’s temple).
The New Jerusalem dimensioned in the Book of Revelation is a cube having a volume of 1728 billion cubic furlongs.

The Earth’s polar radius is 3456 royal miles (99.99%), where a royal mile is 8/7 of a statute mile.

- If we take the average distance between moons and multiply it by a factor of 34560, we get the average distance between planets.
- Take the average distance between planets, multiply it by a factor of 34560 and we get the average distance between stars.
- Multiply the average distance between stars by a factor of 34560 and we get the average distance between galaxies.
- Take the average distance between galaxies, multiply it by a factor of 34560 and we get the size of the known Universe.

A spreadsheet of numbers Viktor from Sweden sent me inspired me to apply the 6:5 ratio to angular measure, which results in the cosmic sequence.
It really seems impossible to arrange, should I say design the whole pf the Known Universe.
One small addition: Golf number of 54. That indeed is what it is designed and aspired to BUT isn’t perfect 18…every Hole in One. X3 = 54

In Indian or vedic palmistry, the left hand represents the first 27 years of your life (in a right handed person). These first 27 years are meant to represent a legacy of karma being played out from your previous life. In horoscopic Astrology the Saturn return marks a period in your life of transition to adulthood responsibilities. This period can last a couple of years and often begins at the age of 27. These years are often filled with difficulty. Saturn’s orbit is 29.4 years. The ’27 club’ being the age where youth idols die may possibly due to their own difficulty in handling this transnational period influenced by Saturn. That is quite the cosmic cube! It is indeed composed of 216 small cubic elements and encodes the squaring of the circle, or is it the cubing of the sphere?

Simple. The vast majority of these numbers when combined equal 9 which is the number of completion… 😉
Another interesting thing is that, besides the first two numbers, 3×9 (trinity), 3×6 (duality), you then have 1-08, 2-16, 4-32, 8-64–which is essentially a series of numbers illustrating a sequence of progression from 8 to 8 squared. I find it probably more interesting than most just because 8 symbolically represents infinity.
Or even the mirroring of heaven, which is represented by the circle; but perhaps I’m stretching a little too far now!
I was born on feb 27, 1954. My birth was 3 months premature. I came into the world at midnight. I have always felt I was special because I lived…and then factor the numerology and it was God’s plan…My memories are before my birth, and I feel intuitively a lot of the time…the hubble photos to me represent a glimpse of heaven and are proof of God.
A score of 18 would be a perfect game of golf, but playing an even game of pitch and putt, whereby par is three strokes on each hole, is scoring 54.
Also, in a standard deck of cards you have 52 cards of value and typically 2 jokers, which is 54. It’s even more interesting, though, because a deck of cards represents the phenomenal world; 52 cards, 52 weeks; 4 suits, 4 seasons; 2 colours, night and day.
Adding the face values of playing cards yields 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13 = 91.
Four suits 4 x 91 = 364. Adding the Jokers accounts for the missing 1.242 days, bringing the total up to the solar year.
13 cards per suit is the lunar year of 13 full moons.

Very interesting. Yes, I knew 13 had something to do with it. Also if you divide 365 by 13, you get 28, the number of days of an average lunar cycle, which is just another way of looking at what you’ve already mentioned 🙂

Scott, I am always amazed at your work, it is very Impressive to say the least.
I was hoping you would check into a place that has a history that rivals that of any ever, and that would be Ethiopia. Even the ancient Egyptians claimed their gods came from the land of Punt, which is now Somalia and Ethiopia. As a matter of fact, please check this: Tiya, Ethiopia, with its ancient unkown rock stelae, one of them depicting the goddess hovering like Nut. Given how the Nile starts in Ethiopia, it would make sense the worship of these gods would flow downstream and end up in Egypt. The longitude is 8°26′ N 38°37’E.
I am not a google earth expert, but totally trust your judgement and wonder if the grid is connected to this site. I am positive without even looking that Aksum and Lalibela are connected, and would love to see you do a piece on it.
Somehow Ethiopia always finds a way to stay hidden, but plays deep into the big picture.

Scott, great as usual. You might be aware of this already, but the distance in feet from the center of baalbek (“the head”) to the dome of the rock, is pretty much exactly 864 000.
That´s probably old news, but there it is.
Forgot to mention another one that might be “old school” (though it´s new to me). The distance from Monks´ mound at Cahokia mounds to Liberty Island is exactly 864 miles.
I´ll keep on measuring!

Hello from Vancouver. I work at a community centre where we recently held a maala bead making workshop. As you know, there are 108 beads on a string of maala beads. I was asked to take photos of the workshop and the instructor allowed me to share the many 108 correspondences you’ve mentioned here and in your Internet radio interviews. The participants eyes opened a little wider and then they had a good chuckle when I told them that the room in which the workshop was being held was number 108.
Your Leonardo book is great, by the way. And, while this is late in coming, it arrived on Christmas Eve and I was able to give it to the friend I bought it for on Christmas Day. Thanks for sending it so fast!

Unravelling/decoding the correct Biblical calendar, I wrapped it around the base of the Great Pyramid, covering the last 13000 years since the previous Ice Age that lasted about 110 thousand years. It’s an interesting visually graphic Excel spread sheet, linked to a very basic website containing the supporting word document (which still has to be updated to the finished spread sheet).
