In no particular order, here are some new images I’ve created recently. I posted these on my Facebook wall but they quickly got lost in the ephemeral feed. This blog is a much better repository for this research. This post is a grab bag of things I’ve noticed that haven’t made their way yet into other blog posts.

It turns out that the following 6:5 relationship in the Pyramid of Khafre is 99.9% accurate. The discovery was made by Peter Casperson in his book Den Matematiska Nyckeln Till Guds Namn (which translates from Swedish as “The Mathmatical Key to God’s Name”) published in 2004. The illustration is my own. The 6:5 relationship ties in with what I’ve written before in Taking Measure, the Snowflake and the Flower, and Cubits, among other blog posts.

The outer perimeter of the egg’s cross-section is 33,333 feet assuming the eggshell has thickness of ~5 feet at the scale of the Great Pyramid. I made a similar oval image a few years ago called The Megalithic Egg but it was based on the 3:4:5 triangle instead.

The circumference of the egg based on the geometry of the Great Pyramid is 33333 feet

The egg formed by the elevation of the Great Pyramid has a circumference of 33333 feet

I made a round image (with Photoshop’s polar filter) of moai on Easter Island looking into the center, and then felt inspired to have them look at the Orion nebula. The 15 moai fit the stages of the alchemical process and I took the stage names from a fantastic novel by Katherine Neville called The Eight that I was re-reading. The philosopher’s stone naturally fits in the center as the final goal of al-kemi. I was playing with the swirling colors as seen above in the nebula or below in the chemicals of the alchemist’s cauldron. Are we looking into the heavens or deep within? They end up in the same place: awareness.

Is this the basis of the Fahrenheit scale, why water boils at 212°? A circle with a diameter of 212 has a circumference approximately equal to 666. It’s interesting also that 33°F = .55555…°C

Here’s a discovery I made some time ago but don’t think I’ve posted it in the blog before. The Governor’s mansion at the top of Victoria Peak overlooking Hong Kong is 3333.3 km from Borobudur. Amazing distance between city mountains: sacred and mundane!

It’s interesting that the two main fortresses of England and Scotland are 333 miles apart. I’m sure that wasn’t planned by humans, but one must not rule out the gods.

The Brandaris connection was discovered by Shannon van den Heuvel. These two monuments are exactly 3333333 meters apart.

The traditional Buddhist retreat lasts for 3 years, 3 months and 3 days. Make sense?

Heliopolis is 3333 miles from Mt Everest and 3333 km from the equator. Both metric and imperial units are based on the dimensions of the Earth. The Sun is 333000 times more massive than the Earth.

There are actually minimum and maximum temperatures. Absolute zero is the coldest possible temperature where there is absolutely no movement. The temperature of the big bang has been calculated as 33 orders of magnitude hotter than absolute zero, as measured in degrees Kelvin. At this maximum temperature all four forces (gravity, electromagnetism, strong and weak) merge into one force and the fabric of spacetime itself is thought to dissolve into nothingness.

Quantum foam (also referred to as space-time foam) is a concept in quantum mechanics devised by John Wheeler in 1955. The foam is supposed to be conceptualized as the foundation of the fabric of the universe. This “foam” is the smallest measurable length, representing the granularity of spacetime itself. The human eye is 33 orders of magnitude larger than the quantum foam.

Here are some of my favorite quotes:

Philosophy is written in this grand book, the universe, which stands continually open to our gaze. But the book cannot be understood unless one first learns to comprehend the language and read the characters in which it is written. It is written in the language of mathematics, and its characters are triangles, circles, and other geometric figures without which it is humanly impossible to understand a single word of it; without these one is wandering in a dark labyrinth.
—Galileo Galilei, The Assayer, 1623

“The enormous usefulness of mathematics in the natural sciences is something bordering on the mysterious and…there is no rational explanation for it.” -Eugene Wigner, nobel laureate

“How can it be that mathematics, being after all a product of human thought which is independent of experience, is so admirably appropriate to the objects of reality?” -Albert Einstein

“The most beautiful system of the sun, planets and comets could only proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent and powerful Being.” -Introduction to the Principia by Isaac Newton

“Everything we call real is made of things that cannot be regarded as real.” -Niels Bohr

“Let no one ignorant of geometry enter.” -Engraved on the door of Plato’s Academy

The humble papyrus plant that was processed for writing was echoed in the architecture of hypostyle halls, and in the shape of the Nile, as seen from space.

The distance from Abu Simbel to Heliopolis is 864 km.

Mile End in London resembles the Eye of Horus. Was this intentional?

The Marine Corps war memorial in DC resembles the human eye in cross section. Was that intentional?

My analysis of the Great Pyramid shows very precise encodings of mathematical constants, some which the ancient Egyptians did not know. Were gods the architects and Egyptians the builders?

Miles, furlongs, feet, yards and inches are based on the Earth.

The geometry of the Nile delta implies a pyramid that extends into space.

The Amun oracle is π x 10 million inches from the entrance to the ancient temple dedicated to Amun.

Growth (interior and exterior) resonates with the divine spiral.

Peter Stanbury discovered the following relationships of the proton to electron mass ratio and the fine structure constant’s relationships to pi. I added the neutron to electron mass ratio and the boxed equation. Taken together, we see how pi, phi and mathematical ratio are fundamental to matter. All is number.

The molecular weight, specific heat capacity and temperature of air control how fast sound waves propagate through the atmosphere. At 3.3°C the speed of sound in air is 333.3 m/s and if the wavelength is 1/3 of a meter, the resulting frequency is exactly 1000 cycles per second, the center of human hearing. The meter, the second, base 10, and the qualities of our atmosphere conspire to produce this metrological sonic harmony.

The average male + female human height is 3.30 meters. These drawings were included on the Pioneer spacecrafts so that aliens can see what we look like naked!

Our planet is 3.3% the distance to the outermost planet in our system. This is true regardless of units.

  1. Great post! A few years back i stumbled across Casperson´s book in my hometown library here in Sweden. It was just when i had become aware of Michell and Heath and sacred geometry so it stood out to me. Just a few weeks ago i looked for it again there, not very intently, but couldn´t find it, think i´ll look again now. It is a bit of a coincidense to me that you mentioned it here.

  2. As always it’s a joy to read and watch all Your various discoveries my friend. I just wanted to let You know (if You don’t already) that there is a very significant reason why the numbers 6 and 9 keeps ‘coming up’ in all these calculations. If You wish to know why this is, my best advice would be to simply ask a ‘proven clairvoyant’ or ‘someone’ who can tell You exactly what those two specific numbers symbolizes. There’s no reason to publish this comment. But as I know You will need to fully understand ‘the purpose’ of 6 and 9, – and later the ‘secret’ regarding the numbers 5 and 7 to ‘get the full picture’ of all You’ve discovered, then this is simply a friendly advice, from a good friend who admire Your constant search and tireless work in ‘finding the answers by asking the right questions’ – Have a nice one Scott 🙂

  3. Another tidbit on 666, that is pretty new to me perhaps not to you, concerns the best wholenumber approximation of pi, which is 355/113. Added that is 468 and turned around 864, and median of those two is 666. Thought that was pretty cool.

  4. Another fantastic post.

The egg is one of the most profound symbols, which relates to the rebirthing, the death of the static ego and the creation of the divine ego. Divine meaning harmonized with the identity of the ALL.

  5. Hi Scott,

Your consciousness keeps expanding mine – thank you. I donated $50 to help support your research. The news about the Binary Research Institute proposing Sirius as a binary star to our sun is really fascinating. Their site quotes one astronomer estimating that the solar system moves through space at greater than 430 km per second – I took the nearest canonical number 432 and found good stuff. 432 x 60 = 25920 (traditional Great Year number) x 60 = 1,555,200 km per hour. In miles that is 2,488,320 mph, which echoes the meridian circumference of the earth.

As you point out in your book, the BRI hypothesizes 24,000 years as the precession cycle that best fits the data. By the way, 25920 : 24000 = 1.08 – so the moon has some influence after all…

    All the best,
    Michael in Istanbul

    Fascinating! Truely!
My chain of thought: The moon, the tide, water, emotion. Adjacently: Silver, Sirius, Isis, the feminine, the Goddess.

  7. I’m sorry I missed your author of the month on Graham Hancock dot com, I would have loved to have engaged with some of those forum discussions. Especially as a few posters were surprisingly negative.

Have you met or spoken with GH himself? Its great that he gave you some exposure and association on his site!

  8. The Pyramid of Khafre encodes another 6:5 proportions as well:

It is made up of two 3–4–5 triangles standing back to back, making its base 6, and it’s sloping sides 5 in lenght.

Moreover, while on the subject of 6:5, the numbers 5,6, and 12 seem closely related, in that 5x6x12=360. 6×12=72, which divides the circle in 5 parts, and therefor forms the basis for the pentagon, while 5×12=60, which divides the circle in 6 parts, forms the basis for the hexagon.

The sum of the length of the sides in a 3–4–5 triangle is 12.

    1. Speaking of pentagons and the 3–4–5 triangles of the Khafre pyramid, the 36°, 54°, and 72° angles of a pentagon are related to 3/4, since 54/72=3/4, and the pyramid of Khafre fits equally into a 36:54 rectangle, or a 2:3 rectangle.

      1. The page proportion in a medieval manuscript is 2:3, according to master typographer Jan Tschichold, so the pyramid of Khafre fits into it, and that reminds me of how you in your DVDs talk about Egyptian Hermetic knowledge gave birth to the Renaissance in the Middle Ages, before going underground, and into secret societies. Very cool, I think, and very fitting.

It certainly makes one wonder whether there is a connection between those Medieval manuscripts and the Chepren pyramid, since they have both the 2:3 proportion, and their Hermetic origin in common.

  9. About the 6:5 relationship:

In his book, Peter Caspersson says that the six–, and five–pointed, star is associated with King David and Jesus, respectively — the six–pointed star with King David, as it is called the Star of David, and the five–pointed star with Jesus, as he is identified with the Morning Star — and the relationship between the stars, is that both King David and Jesus were born in Bethlehem …

  10. My view of the 6:5 relationship, is that the Vitruvian man illustrates the no–gap, and 36° gap, that three hexagons form when they are tiled, and three pentagons form when they are tiled, respectively, with its legs closed and legs open design. It simply points at the tesselation of 2–D polygons forming the basis for the 3–D platonic solids.

    1. What is also noteworthy about 3 tiled hexagons shown side by side with 3 tiled pentagons, is that each of the 3 hexagons is made up of 6 equilateral triangles, and each of 3 pentagons is made up of 5 triangles (although, not equilateral), producing a total of 33 triangles. A fairly important number to Freemasons.

    2. The Vitruvian Man, a new wrinkle of mine, is a peculiarity. Because the center of the circle is on the Vitruvian Man’s navel instead of on either of his hip joints, his legs will increase in length as they are moved around the perimeter of the circle. Consequently, there is no telling what the true length of his legs actually is, and there is nothing in the drawing to hint at it.

Additionally, there is the problem of the hip joints not staying in the same place between the two superimposed figures, or two Vitruvian men. In short, he is an anatomical impossibility, and some canon of proportions for the human body.

I’m not against it, I think it is beautiful, I just can’t figure out what it means.

  11. Great work as always. I recently thought of something regarding the relationship of 6 and 5 which may have already been said before. It is a very simple observation. The male human body has 6 outgrowths/branches from the trunk (1 head, 2 arms, 2 legs and 1 penis) whereas the female has 5 (unless you count the breasts…).
